The Friends of Marie Wright Children's Foundation exists as the fundraising arm of the Marie Wright Children's Foundation Orphanage located in Kampala, Uganda. The Marie Wright Children's Foundation is a Faith based foundation that exists to help Orphans and Vulnerable Children in the slums of Uganda. The Marie Wright Children's Foundation is a registered CHILD centered organization focused on transforming the lives, families and communities of Orphans and Vulnerable Children out of poverty in urban slum areas and remote rural areas of Uganda. We have the following objectives for the Friends of Marie Wright Children's Foundation:
The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be:

To provide financial support for orphans and vulnerable persons;

To educate the public on the special needs of orphans and vulnerable persons;

To expand and redefine our financial and educational programs from time to time as necessary to meet the continuing challenge of protecting orphans and vulnerable persons.
The Friends of Marie Wright Children's Foundation is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 as defined by the IRS of the United States. The Foundation exists to collect funds for the Marie Wright Children's Foundation https://marie-wcf.org/ and attempts to find donors willing to give one-time donations, monthly donations, charitable bequests and to sponsor children on a monthly basis.

Fundraising efforts will include crowdfunding, collection events, challenges and other ideas dreamed up by the creative minds of the Friends of Marie Wright Children's Foundation.
